Our Physician Assistant Theresa Helsel is off to Camp Little Pine! Theresa will be spending the next week volunteering for Camp Discovery to ensure that the medical needs of each camper are met. Camp Discovery, sponsored by the American Academy of Dermatology, was founded in 1993 and has since grown into six weeks of camp in five different locations where campers can experience activities such as fishing, swimming, archery, horseback riding and fun!
Under the expert care of dermatologists and PA’s, Camp Discovery offers campers the opportunity to spend a week among other young people who have similar skin conditions. All costs for campers, including transportation, are provided by the American Academy of Dermatology through generous donations from members, individuals, and other organizations.
